9310 Williams St - Cross Connection Church Rebuild

Project Status
Project Type

The property at 9310 Williams Street in Chilliwack, previously home to Cross Connection Church, was tragically destroyed by a fire on September 4th, 2023. The church, a beloved community landmark built in 1948, was severely damaged as firefighters battled the blaze that engulfed the building. Despite the loss, the church's leadership is committed to rebuilding on the same site. Demolition and removal of the fire-damaged structure were completed by December 2023, and discussions are ongoing with the insurance company to plan the construction of a new church in the coming months.
