The Paramount Project, spearheaded by Chilliwack Community Services (CCS), marks a significant milestone in addressing housing affordability in Chilliwack. As the largest initiative in CCS's nearly 100-year history, this project embodies the organization's long-standing commitment to providing safe, affordable housing, particularly for seniors and young adults.
Located in the heart of downtown Chilliwack, the Paramount Project will deliver 66 units of housing—58 designated for seniors and 8 for young adults. These units will offer a range of affordability options, from deep subsidy to below-market rent, ensuring accessibility for a diverse group of residents.
The building, designed with modern architectural features and a community-focused layout, will also consolidate the offices of CCS on the first two floors, allowing the organization to better serve the community from a central location. This project is not just about housing; it represents CCS's dedication to supporting the downtown area's revitalization, contributing to the broader redevelopment efforts led by the City of Chilliwack and the Chilliwack Economic Partners Corporation (CEPCO).
