For months several people tried to tell me the residential buildings are going to be built over the commercial building. I tried telling those people that is not what was on the concept drawings. If you look at the structural steel that is going up there for the commercial building there is no way it could hold the weight of a 6 story building.

Another key piece of information is there are two contractors. One contractor is building the three residential buildings. The other contractor is building this commercial building plus the other two presently under construction on the Chilliwack Mall property.
